2. EXT. WOODS.

Heavy breathing is heard in pitch black.

He’s coming!

3. TITLE.

Warp Films logo is seen.

FADE TO

4. EXT. WOODS.

The three friends are seen in the tent, chatting and drinking beer.

TERRY:

What a day it’s been!

JAMES:

I’m knackered mate, all we’ve done is set up a tent.

*all three laugh*

FADE TO

5. EXT. WOODS.

The three friends are seen in the tent. They laugh, drink beer,  and GEORGE punches JAMES playfully.

FADE TO

6. TITLE.

Text “THREE FRIENDS HEAD OUT ON AN ORDINARY CAMP-OUT”.

FADE TO

7. INT. TENT.

The friends are getting into their sleeping bags in the tent.

GEORGE:

Better get to bed, we don’t want to die of tiredness tomorrow!

FADE TO

8. EXT. WOODS.

The tent gets zipped up and the camera zooms out and away from it.

FADE TO

9. TITLE.

Text displays “BUT IF THERE’S ONE THING EVERYONE IN THE WOODS SHOULD KNOW…”

FADE TO

10. EXT. WOODS.

Meteor is seen coming towards the earth and hitting the ground, causing shakes all around.

FADE TO

11. TITLE.

Text displaying “IT’S TO ALWAYS…”

12. TITLE.

13. INT. TENT. —> EXT. WOODS.

A point-of-view shots shows one of the friends waking up and unzipping the tent. Light spills into the tent.

CUT TO

14. EXT. WOODS.

The three friends are seen from the ground up, stretching as they emerge from the tent.

CUT TO 

15. EXT. WOODS.

One of the guys is sent to go and collect rocks for the grill for breakfast.

TERRY:

Hey JAMES, go and get some rocks for the grill so we can cook brekkie!

FADE TO

16. EXT. WOODS.

JAMES is pictured walking through trees, picking up rocks.

FADE TO

17. EXT. WOODS.

Meteorite is seen from a low-angle.

BLUR INTO

18. EXT. WOODS.

JAMES picks up the meteorite, thinking it is a regular rock, with a pull focus.

CUT INTO

19. EXT. WOODS. 

JAMES drops the rock and briefly shivers. He picks up a different rock and returns to the group, thinking nothing of it.

20. EXT WOODS.

The trio chat as they eat their breakfast.

TERRY:

Did you see Wednesday play Derby at the weekend?

GEORGE:

Yeah I did actually, it was quite a close game.

TERRY:

3-2, I had my bets on Wednesday winning but it was quite close.

(JAMES walks in.)

GEORGE:

I thought Derby would win to be honest, they’ve been performing quite well recently.

TERRY:

I’ve gotta say their new manager is working charms for them. It was a great performance.

JAMES (snapping):

Shut up guys, Wednesday are much better and you know it. It was pure fluke that they won!

TERRY and GEORGE glance at each other.

FADE INTO

21. TITLE.

Text shows “THIS YEAR”.

FADE INTO

22. EXT. WOODS.

The meteorite starts to glow white and let out smoke, unnoticed.

CUT INTO

23. EXT. WOODS.

GEORGE and TERRY are seen from above and behind, walking back up the trail in the woods.

FADE INTO

24. EXT. WOODS.

TERRY turns his head and taps GEORGE on the shoulder.

TERRY:

Did you hear that?

GEORGE (turning round):

What?

FADE INTO

25. INT. TENT.

GEORGE and TERRY are seen leaning over JAMES in his sleeping bag.

GEORGE:

Check for a pulse, check for a pulse!

TERRY (overwhelmed):

S***… I think he’s dead!

CUT INTO

26. EXT. WOODS.

JAMES and GEORGE are sitting on a log outside of their tent.

GEORGE:

Have you got the grill we used for breakfast?

JAMES doesn’t answer and looks unwell, wretches a little.

GEORGE (concerned):

Are you alright mate?!

JAMES (slowly):

Uhh… I just feel a bit strange…

FADE INTO

27. INT. TENT.

A shot of an alarm clock, showing 11pm, is panned and tilted onto JAMES’ face, lying in his sleeping bag. His eyes light up white.

CUT INTO

28. EXT. WOODS.

TERRY and GEORGE are seen looking over the meteorite in the woods, which is letting out a white light.

GEORGE:

Wow… what the f*** is that?!

TERRY:

I’ve never seen anything like it…

FADE INTO

29. EXT. OUTSIDE THE ACCOMMODATION.

JAMES is pictured in the entrance of the tent, eyes shining white, standing still and looking in the direction that GEORGE and TERRY went to investigate.

CUT INTO

30. EXT. WOODS.

JAMES is seen from behind in the foreground, looking down the trail in the woods towards GEORGE and TERRY in the background.

CUT INTO

31. INT. TENT.

JAMES gets out of his sleeping bag and stands at the front, looking over his two friends. His eyes continue to glow white.

CUT INTO

32. EXT. WOODS.

GEORGE is pictured running at full pelt down the trail in the woods, as the camera pans into leaves on the ground.

FADE INTO

33. TITLE.
